Thought on art i like:

Theres a difference between art as craft and art where the artists intention is to provoke something in the audience. I like the former, in that the primary purpose of that is for the artist themself to engage with the work. They are like a craftsman, improving their trade. I think that is also the route to the best, and most lasting work.
